What to Bring
For the best fishing experience we recommend that you should bring:
- We leave early morning, before or at sunrise depending on the ocean conditions.
- Food and drinks (Small snacks, soda, water, and juice)
- Appropriate clothing for the forecast. This could include rain gear, hats, or even a change of clothes.
- Sunscreen and sunglasses
- Also, if you are planning on taking any fish home, bring a cooler full of ice.
- Our boat has plenty of room to store personal belongings, but keep in mind we are not responsible for any of your gear.
- We will supply rods, reels, bait, and tackle for each trip.
What to Eat
“Never leave on an empty stomach”
from Captain Dan’s Dad
We recommend you eat a good breakfast before climbing aboard. If you are prone getting seasick or new to fishing, we suggest taking over the counter medication like Dramamine.
What to Avoid
The US Coast Guard and the Julia Nicole has a zero tolerance policy against drugs. We also have a zero tolerance against excessive alcohol consumption, although alcohol is permitted in moderation. The Captain can cancel a charter at anytime with no refunds if any guests break these rules. Minimize alcohol consumption the day and night before the trip as well, so you and the rest of the charter can have a great day.
